Top 5 Most Beautiful Dogs with Blue Eyes
Blue eye color in dogs is caused by decreased melanin production in the iris. This may be due to several genetic factors, which manifest differently in different breeds. Four more breeds are discussed in the second part of this article.
In some breeds, blue eyes are a permanent trait, while in others, they only appear with certain coat colors. There are also albino dogs with blue eyes, but this is the result of a complete lack of pigmentation.
